ADP Board

ADP Board – 10-25-2022 - Special Meeting

Meeting Details: The Automated Data Processing Board (ADP) met in special session on October 25, 2022 at 10:00 am in the Appraisal Office at 231 Main Street, Suite 1A, Chardon, OH. Virtual access was available via Webex. The Agenda was provided in advance. This observer attended virtually.


Board members present in person:

  • Chuck Walder - Auditor/Chief Admin

  • Joe Cattell – Engineer

  • Scott Hildenbrand – Sheriff

  • Celesta Mullins – Recorder

  • Michelle Lane – Board of Elections

  • Nora McGinnis, Deputy Director, Board of Elections

  • Sheila Bevington – County Clerk of Courts

ADP Staff present in person:

  • Frank Antenucci - Chief Deputy Admin ADP

  • Alan Keener - Chief Technology Officer ADP

Others present:

  • Pam McMahon - Fiscal Office Manager

  • Tom Huff IT Officer Common Pleas

  • Lou Marion, GIS Director

  • Jim Mausser – Finance Manager, Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services

  • David Griffen – Griffen Technology

None of the Geauga County Commissioners were in attendance. Jim Flaiz (County Prosecutor) and James Hickock (County Treasurer) were also absent. 


The regular meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM.

 

Meeting minutes for September 20, 2022 were approved.  As of November 21, 2022, minutes are posted on the ADP website through August 9, 2022.  Approved minutes may also be obtained through a public records request.


The following were approved:  

  • ADP equipment list from July 1, 2022, to August 31, 2022.

  • Approval of Auditor’s Accellis Technology Group GIS Project. This provides for outsourcing servers for GIS, which provides better protection.

  • Approval of Auditor’s Nearmap Flyover Services. The Auditor stated that this is a new vendor for these services. Compared to the previous vendor, the new vendor should be easier to work with, less expensive, provide more flights, more flexible options. This vendor also contracts with 4-5 other counties and other entities. The Sheriff’s office uses these maps to figure out which house to go to when they are unsure of an address. JFS could also use the maps before visiting a residence.

  • Approval of Sheriff’s MNJ Switches, Licenses and Cables. The current switches are 15 years old.

  • Approval of Common Pleas Vista Solutions Group, LP Annual Maintenance Agreement. This is for the case management system, and shows PDF’s of documents.

  • Approval of Mental Health Griffin Technology Group contract. This is a renewal of the current contract with a 3% increase to allow an increase in data capacity for backup.
