LWV Geauga Announces General Election Candidate Forum
Geauga County, OH - The League of Women Voters of Geauga (LWVG) will host one candidate forum prior to Ohio’s November 8, 2022 General Election. This event is slated to take place on Thursday, October 6 at 7 p.m. at the West Geauga Middle School in Chesterland, OH. Geauga-TV will disseminate the candidate platforms to a wider audience, providing both a live-streaming link for remote viewing during the event and also recording the forum for later viewing.
Certified candidates in these contested races will be invited to participate:

11th District Court of Appeals Judge

35th District State Representative

99th District State Representative

9th District State School Board

10th District State School Board
In selecting this date, LWVG examined published legislative and session calendars for both the U.S. House of Representatives and Ohio General Assembly. We also considered holidays, religious observances and known local events. We strongly encourage candidates to mark their calendars so that they may share their views directly with the community members they wish to represent.
